UHCC Children’s and Student Ministries Policies and Procedures

FOUR SAFETY STEPS

Thank you for your willingness to serve in Urban Hope Community Church's Children's and Student Ministries! We have implemented Policies & Procedures with the goal of protecting our children and students from abuse and protecting staff and volunteers from false accusations.

All Children's and Student Ministries staff and volunteers are required to complete the following safety steps:

STEP 1

Complete the online Confidential Safety Application and obtain two references. Expect to spend 10—15 minutes on this application.

STEP 2

Read and acknowledge Faith Presbyterian Church’s Children’s and Student Ministries Policies and Procedures. Expect to spend 30—40 minutes on this step.

STEP 3

You will receive an email invitation to complete an online course on Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. Expect to spend 60—90 minutes on this step.

STEP 4

You will receive an email that prompts you to begin a Criminal Background Check online. Expect to spend 1—3 minutes on this step. Thank you for your time!
