Our New Church Home

Urban Hope Community Church has been a church plant in Fairfield, for Fairfield for the last six years.  Over that stretch the Lord has blessed us with an abundance of love, grace, mercy and relationships. We have seen God’s Gospel truths take root in the lives of many who came to our church in search of hope.  God has made his name and his work known in the city of Fairfield through the faithful proclamation of his word and the willing hands of his servants at UHCC. Now, after six years of sharing a worship space with other local churches, we are wholeheartedly relying on God to provide our own space in which to worship and minister in the city of Fairfield, Alabama. He has already been faithful to show us the space and has allowed us to raise enough money to purchase an 11,000 square foot building, right in the heart of downtown Fairfield.  When we first walked into this building that sits directly across from Fairfield City Hall, our leadership team could feel God’s faithfulness and love ruminating throughout the building. We are now trusting the character of God as the scriptures say, “faithful is he who calls you, he will do it” (1 Thes. 5:24) and “that if this plan is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them.” (Acts 5:38-39)

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter in the life and ministry of Urban Hope Community Church. We are humbled to be a part of God’s grand story unfolding in the once thriving, but now suffering, community of Fairfield.  We as a church are committed to the big vision that God has given our pastor and are motivated by the Spirit to see it through. We are in great need of our own space to call our church home and we humbly ask that you consider partnering with us through constant prayer, monetary gifts or the pledge of materials or volunteer labor and to walk with us into this new season of our church. We thank God for our partners and are eternally grateful to him for this wonderful opportunity to see his “kingdom come… on earth as it is in heaven!”
